I always seem to have trouble with these “tell us a bit about yourself” tasks, whether writing or speaking, and I'm sure that my discomfort has a lot to do with the fact that I have spent so much of my life trying to hide, and so this kind of thing makes me feel like I'm standing on a dark stage with sweat beading on my upper lip from the intense spotlight that blinds me to the size, nature, and sentiments of the implied audience beyond the end of the stage.

But I'm here to start my new life…the one that leaves fear behind and embraces my individual and collective soulful life. So, no more standing on the stage like the proverbial deer in headlights for me; in fact, the stage must dissolve so that I can see that I am one with the audience and we are all beautifully and simultaneously one and individual.

So I am a spirit lover who is ready to accept and love her own spirit by joining in the universal connection. I am you and you are me and we are we. I'm glad we're in this together!!!

But the external stuff goes something like this….

What I do to make money:

I work at a health food store and run a raw foods cafe there when I'm not “working the floor.”

What I do for love and for fun:

I raise two lovely daughters, ages 17 and 16; dance, dance, dance….west coast swing is my current favorite, but I also two-step, polka, and do a little waltzing; I paint a bit; I have recently discovered yoga and want to do more of it; and I experiment with new raw foods recipes for fun and for my business!
